Castlewood State Park

In the 1900s Castlewood State park was filled with dance clubs and bars. Now that the clubs are gone, Castlewood is filled with beautiful hiking and biking trails. These trails run along the Meramec River. This is a great place for those of you looking for an adventure, and don’t worry castlewood offers trails for first timers to even the most experienced. The stunning views are definitely worth the hike, believe me!

Grafton Illinois

Take a day trip to visit Grafton Illinois to see all of the things this small town has to offer. They have beautiful wineries, thrilling ziplines, and astonishing views. This town has something for everyone to enjoy. A few must see places are Aeries Winery, Pere Marquette state park, and Grafton Zipline Adventures. Pere Marquette consists of approximately 12 miles of marked trails. At the end of these trails you will be able to see where the Illinois river meets the Mississippi river.
