Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us now are working remotely and completing online coursework to avoid unnecessary contact with the public. You may find yourself growing a bit stir-crazy and anxious to get out of the house. Or, maybe you’re struggling to find things to do in your spare time while still abiding by the government’s stay-at-home orders.

For this episode of Story Time Spotlight, I decided to interview my best friend of 20 years, Ashley Askew. From Polly Pockets flying down the air vents to intense Mario Kart competitions, Ashley and I found plenty of ways to occupy ourselves as kids.

For further entertainment, check out our unofficial music video for the song “Pancake Robot.” It was created using an app called Video Star, and it features Ashley Askew, Zach Askew, Aidan Steingruby, and Carrie Steingruby.
